Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Pain Pilot ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Pain Pilot lets you log pain, symptoms, medications, diagnoses, and appointments, and generate a personal PDF report. The Service is provided "as is" and may change over time.

Not medical advice

Pain Pilot is a personal tracking tool and is not a medical device. Nothing in the Service — including AI-generated insights, pattern summaries, or PDF reports — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI insights are statistical observations from your own logs, not clinical conclusions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions, starting or stopping medication, or interpreting symptoms. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features (AI Insights, unlimited doctor reports, advanced charts) require a paid subscription. Pricing, trial length, and billing period are shown on the pricing page before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Except where required by law (for example, EU/UK statutory withdrawal rights for digital services that have not yet been used), payments are non-refundable. To request a refund or report a billing issue, email support@mypainpilot.app.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe on others' rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service's operation.

Your content

You own the entries you create (pain logs, journals, diagnoses, medications, appointments). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit them solely to provide the Service to you — including sending anonymized summaries to our AI provider to generate insights on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell it.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the Service at risk.

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
